Right Combination – Storyteller – Malaco Ex+ £650

“Storyteller” is a sublime number from Detroit’s Groovesville Music Publishing setup, the original version by Steve Mancha has certainly served the traditional Northern scene well over the years, and the Enticers version on Cotillion a decent understudy

In my opinion neither compares to the quality of this so difficult to find mid-tempo crossover cut, laid down at Malaco in Jackson, Mississippi. A missing entry in several online Malaco discographies, suggesting it is indeed a rare under the radar 45, and therefore not on many if any playlists.

Excellent plus condition, couple of very light handling marks, which don’t affect play in any way. 2 XOL.
