Errol Chandler - What Have I Done (Power-Pac) Vg- £40 (priced accordingly ***HEAR IT***)
Stunning and virtually unknown mid tempo crossover/northern rarity that really stands out - incredible that 45s like this are still out there and under exposed. Can only find a couple of recorded sales on Discogs, none on Popsike and none on any of the FB groups. Power-Pac was an imprint label of Scram out of New Orleans with a few high end rarities to its name. Sold a mint one to a very well known DJ a while back for £200. This copy is Vg- some ghosting on vinyl May clean up, some light crackle but still a decent 45 for the price. ***HEAR IT***
Charles Trent - Old Man Mose (Del Fi) strong Vg (plays close to Vg+ ***HEAR IT***) WOL £30
Rockin’ R&B dancer that’s far from common although seems somewhat under the radar so still affordable. This is about half price as it looks Vg but plays strong after some light crackle on intro (hear for yourself, clip below from actual 45).
Bob Marshall and the Crystals - Never Seen A Girl Like You (L-Rev) Vg- (plays Vg+) £15
Looks rough, plays tough (hear for yourself clip below from actual 45). Some serious marks on this but totally DNAP! Like all of Bob’s output this has a great, right for now, Garage/R&B type sound. Under the radar currently but with the right exposure and current tastes could well increase In demand and price.
Bill Morgan & The Rubber Band - Old Woman (Brown Hat) G+ ***HEAR IT*** £15
Killer funk edged R&B that is so right for now. Rarest of the bunch but sadly the poorest condition wise, multiple marks and crackle (hear for yourself on clip below). Very very tough 45 to obtain though, priced accordingly.
