Bob Jones and a few others (myself included) played this out a few times before it was a hit - it was actually a flop when first released, but Virgin/Circa persevered with it and got a Top 20 position several months later...

It's an excellent record by the way - who gives a fcuk what Rowland Rivron thinks about it, or anything else for that matter. 'm very happy to admit that I also have the album, on CD in the collection...

I remember this being played years ago to a full dance floor upstairs in the Soul Room at a Kettering Scooter Rally, the year Edwin Starr was on downstairs in the main room...I think
