    Always a brilliant event - just ask the people who keep coming back year in & year out !! Added bonus this year of Mecca Memories from the early years - 4:00pm to 8:00pm - possibly the "Golden Age" of Northern Soul - so many of the scenes most iconic tunes played in that era.

    Delighted to tell you we have a fantastic Highland Room event planned for Saturday 19th November 2016 at a new venue, just off Junction 23 of the M6 motorway!The Mercure Haydock Hotel plays host to the Blackpool Mecca Annual Highland Room Reunion, from 4.00pm until 2.00am!The event features Northern from the late 60's early 70's with Colin Curtis and Barry Maleady and later from 8.00pm until 2.00am, Mecca from the later 70's including Jazz Funk, Disco and Mecca All Dayer classics! Colin Curtis, Pete Haigh and Andy Lett do the honours! Check in at the hotel is from 2.00pm and as they are offering 20% off food at the hotel restaurant or bar meals and 10% off all drinks, it seems like a good idea to get there early and eat before the show begins!! There is also a great leisure pool and gym if you are staying over! A great rate has been secured on rooms, £55 for a double without breakfast or £65 with breakfast, which is served until 11.30am! Rooms are available to book now. Please contact reservations on 01942 292004 and say you are with The Mecca night to receive the discounted hotel rate.
