Really enjoyed last night's D8 Soul session in Dublin. Always guaranteed a warm reception at this fantastic club, with a friendly and enthusiastic crowd. Outstanding tunes from all the other DJ's. It was hard trying to follow Danny Duggan's last record (Mel Britt) but I gave it a go anyway, and my playlist is below:
Tony Galla - In Love (Swan)
Tan Geers- Let My Hear and Soul Be Free (Okeh)
Willie Hutch- Love Runs Out (RCA Victor, France)
Frankie Beverley & The Butlers- Because of My Heart (Frankford Wayne acetate)
John Andrews- It's Just Love (Parlophone)
Betty Lloyd- I'm Catching On (BSC)
The People's Choice- Savin' my Loving (Palmer)
Bobby Kline - Say Something Nice To Me (MB)
Kurt Harris- Emperor of My Baby's Heart (Diamond)
Maxine Brown- Let Me Give You My Lovin' (Wand)
Christine Cooper- Heartaches Away My Boy (Parkway)
The Supremes- Dr. Goldfoot & The Bikini Machine (American International)
The Allan Sisters - I'm In With The Downtown Crowd (Quality)
The Harvey Averne Dozen- Never Learned To Dance (Uptite)
John St. John - You Can't Mean It (GTA)
Stormie Winters- Life Saver (Mercury)
Benny Troy - I wanna Give You Tomorrow (De-Lite)
Esther Williams - Last Night Changed It All (Friends)
Unknown Artist- I've Got A Feeling (Hitsville Sound Studio Acetate)
The Charades- Key To My Happiness (MGM)
Frankie and The Damons - Man From Soul (JCP)
Little Eddie Taylor- I Had A Good Time (Peacock)
