Charmers - Natural Self/The One You Love (Stuyvesant) Vg+ £75
Under the radar, double sided funk edged northern at its finest. Had some European exposure I believe but plenty of legs left in it for UK DJs. Not an easy 45 to acquire in decent condition and when it does show is usually £100+. Priced to sell and will FAST!
Bill Morgan & The Rubber Band - Old Woman (Brown Hat Records) Vg- £100 ***HEAR IT***
One look at that label tells you this is a ridiculously rare 45! Probably not in the best condition but then it’s only other entry on YT is in much the same condition and and Craig Moerer has one in G+ at about £350 on Discogs. Funk edged R&B that’s pretty much unknown and sounds so right for now. Hear a clip from the actual 45 below.
Barry Window - End Of Our Road (BAF) Ex (centre missing) £40
Funk edged bomb from Swiss born soul/jazz vocalist. Strange old 45 British label (couple of other hidden gems on this label too). Caused quite a stir when I listed my other copy a few weeks ago (in fact could’ve sold four or five copies). So so right for now, seems unknown but not ruling out that it may have had plays in past. Just the one YouTube clip and seemingly sells at about £50 usually. Another with bags of potential!
