I never knew a 2nd press existed of this album.

Anyone know how to distinguish 1st from 2nd pressing? and when was the 2nd issue pressed up?

check the links from manship.

The second press looks like the original but is 140 quid cheaper! It sounds the same too  .

There are both on the Soul Brother web site.

There must be a way to tell the difference otherwise the 2nd press could just as well be passed off as an original.

Was the 2nd issue pressed up in the 70's?

The second press from three/four years came from the same tapes but the info in the deadwax, as per normal is the give away.

Original NB-9002 60004-1A whereas the 2nd press only has NB9002-A or B

Pictures attached may help, the release sheet makes for interesting reading

I have an original issue.

It won't be long before they are believe me... (Just watch out for them on ebay in a couple of years!)

Is it me or does the sleeve photo on the re-issue look like it has been smartened up some?
