We're influenced by 1970s Soul with a Classic Rock overlap in its production, like the Four Tops. We're also influenced by Garage Rock. Wolfmother type stuff. Interesting but not for me, don't really see the Four Tops influence, if you had said another Motown group The Undisputed Truth producedcby Norman Whitfield I would have maybe seen a loose connection. Not a lot of "soul" in my opinion as we in the uk interpret the term. Good luck with the project I'm sure you will find takers and your niche in the music scene.
