Killer blue eyed twofer! Can only imagine it’s the unlikely naked artists that’s kept this one in obscurity for so long! Top side is sublime (flip ain’t too shabby either). Moody, hypnotic and in the style of those wonderful ‘Shades of Sorrow’ comps. Tough 45 and only recently uploaded to YouTube.
Ascots - I Won’t Cry/ The Wonder Of It All (Blue Fin) Ex £75
Killer garage soul double sider that’s as rare as hen’s teeth. Just one barely viewed YouTube clip of both sides and was recently featured on one of the excellent Shades of Sorrow MixClouds. Sounds right for now massive potential for this one!
N.B. Rarer of it’s two issues with the fantastic ‘Wonder Of It All’ flip side.
Franklin Jones - Alone In The Night/Do You Believe (Gama) Ex £50
Listed this yesterday and completely forgot about the killer Popcorn flip side 🤦♂️😂 plenty of potential for this side in the UK and Europe IMHO. Flip is a fabulous blue eyed R&B dancer that is pretty much unknown (YouTube clip is of actual copy as it doesn’t seem to be on there). Another label renowned for rarities (only other copy I can find ever is on a big dealers site at £125). In the right hands this one has bags of potential!
