Bill Lucas - Cause I Know You’re Mine/I Don’t Ever Want To Love Again (Dionn WD) Vg+ £200

One of, if not the, finest of Stafford’s best ballads b/w an under the radar lowrider that is just as sublime as its flip side. Never been an easy find this 45, with lots of people having to make do with the later reissue/boot. This is the first copy I’ve ever had (and I have been hunting for it since about 1984) and I can’t say I recall seeing it for sale often in the last 40 years either! This one has a few surface marks, but playsVg+ (the odd gentle crackle on the slower flip side but still a good Vg+ player. One of the great double siders that seems to have been somewhat overlooked in recent times, maybe due to rarity. Two quality sides, don’t sleep.
