Ernest Wright – Wherever you go / Christmas – Surviving Hearts 2804
Total badass Philly ballad from the former Little Anthony Imperial. Just keeps building so make sure to check the full clip.
Visual grade: VG
€1000
The Delshan & Love Children – Angela baby (vocal / narration) – Jachelle 1201
Monster Angela Davis themed crossover sister funk jam that for reasons unbeknownst hasn't made it to the grail pantheon within the genre. Has a hairline mark often seen on styrene discs that runs from the outer edge to center. I believe this to be a stress crack that has started to develop but may be an injection seam as well. In any case playback is not affected in any way and as with all records on my list there's a not happy, money back guarantee.
Visual grade: VG, hairline stress crack
€600
Flame N King & The Bold Ones – Ho happy day / Ain't nobody jivein' – N.Y.C.S. 10
Eternal classic 70s dancer. Has the circle on both sides of the label. Plays solid.
Visual grade: VG
€425
Paul Sindab – I was a fool / Yeah I never knew – CNR 9033
Collectable Dutch PS issue of this popcorn staple. Conservatively graded, plays excellent.
Visual grade: Vinyl Strong VG, sleeve VG-
€350
Tommy Olivencia et Son Orchestre – Dolores / El pito – Disque Debs 65
Puerto Rican 4 track EP featuring a mambo bomb. VG+ because of some minor scuffing but the main track looks and plays clean.
Visual grade: Vinyl VG+, sleeve VG+
€250
Unknown Artist – A beautiful morning / Mini-dixie – Stepping Tones 96
Splendid version of the Rascals tune that sounds exactly right for today's more discerning floors.
Visual grade: VG+
€200
Soul Explosion Band – Blue lady / No looking back – Soul Ex 9001
Game over Canadian late 70s ballad. Looks barely played for the most part, but has a hairline crack that creates a short but prominent swoosh during the first part of the song, which clears up as the tune progresses.
Visual grade: G+, hairline crack
€200
Dianne Elliott – When he speaks / The ring – New Horizon 105
Jazz tinged R&B dancer that should work well on the more forward-thinking dance floors. Make sure to check out the deep atmospheric jam on the flip as well!
Visual grade: VG, moderate warp NAP
€180
The Kascades – Kascade / I need you – Universal Sound 143
Deep mid-60s surf garage instrumental that came out on a Detroit label. I don't think this is the Joe Brackenridge and The Kascades from Chicago and have reasons to believe that this enigmatic band may be from Canada. Anyway, tune!

The Woo Woo's – Spooky grinder / Ooh ooh...! - Hotpie & Candy 45 06
Poets of Rhythm, quite possibly the best funk band this continent has ever produced, caught in their peak on this one-off side project. Bomba.
Visual grade: VG+
€120
Chosen Few – Shame of it all / I will always remember you – Pointblank 74-88
Beautiful, and rather obscure Mississippi ballad. Not to be confused with the New Jersey band that recorded for Maple etc.
Visual grade: VG
€100
Peace Love & Happiness – Ain't nothing but a love thang / Peace love & happiness – Abab 1001
Mid-70s sweet ballad. Styrene has numerous marks but plays above grade.
