LES MACK & THE IMPACTS - SO BLUE - JOKERS 3 (E) £1,400
This mid-tempo dancer is one of the great Carolina northern soul rarities. I vaguely remember Gary Rushbrooke playing this one many moons ago, but Stafford may be well be the venue when this rarity first emerged. An infectious track with luscious horns weaving into an incredible dual sax break that will have dancers floating in heaven. This copy is in lovely condition, a few minor spots on label, vinyl a few marks with full gloss. VERY RARE!
KIM KATRELL - DID YOU SEE HIM LAST NIGHT - TYSON (M-) £2,500
In the early 70's, a lady under the artist name 'Kim Katrell released just 2 singles on the early incarnation of Tyson records out of New York. Both releases are extremely rare and carry the same flip titled 'Tomorrow'. One of the releases features a killer early funky northern track called 'Looking For A Good Man', which like this release, seems to have remained elusive, possibly due to rarity. This track 'Did You See Her Last Night' is full on Big City sounding mid-tempo soul. One of the great female group mid-tempo dancers. A proper proven rarity in stunning M- condition. It truly is a thing of beauty.

Full-on uptempo northern with strong funky vibes comes this powerful in-demand dancer. Something definitely going on with this record as we're constantly being asked for it. One listen and instant dance energy emerges from the speakers. Don't over think it, it's a hard one.
