Another eclectic mix of the unusual, the rare, the Northern, the funky and the crossover.

Postage to be added. Paypal F&F (or please add 4% to cover my fees) or bank transfer.

I can do soundfiles for anything listed if wanted.

(1)   Big Ella – “It Takes A Lot Of Loving” (Lo Lo) VG/VG+    £50 *****SOLD*****

  • Better than VG condition but not quite enough to justify a full VG+; no significant marks on vinyl – bit of label wear and staining as shown

  • Plays great – no issues; pounds along

(2)   Calvin Turner & Bad News – “After All” (LuLu)  VG/VG+    £250 *****SOLD*****

  • Ditto re condition – better than VG but can’t quite justify full VG+; plays with a little crackle but doesn’t overpower the sound

  • Very classy brass and organ driven 70s crossover and a rare record – seldom comes up

(3)   Cliff Nobles – “This Love Will Last” (J-V) VG+     £250

  • On a lot of wants lists right now and here on the rarer first label

(4)   Jame T Horn – “The Glory Bound Train” (Modo) EX     £250 *****SOLD*****

  • Doesn’t come up often – pounding gospel

(5)   Johnny Davis – “You Got To Crawl To Me” (Bandit) EX     £50 *****SOLD*****

  • Spare copy of this brilliant funky crossover (got a demo recently) - bargain price

(6)   Nu’Rons & Co – “Can’t Do Enough Girl” / “Disco Hustle” (Stage-Art) EX     £150 *****SOLD*****

  • Great double-sided 70s funk and crossover

(7)   Originals Of Sight & Sounds – “Long Boots” (JJI) EX/M-   £150

  • Pounding Northern R&B – great record!

(8)   Ray Frazier – “Your Eyes”  (The Carriage Trade) VG/VG+  £50 *****SOLD*****

  • Plays nice enough – spare copy as I managed to get a very clean demo
