(Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dean wasn’t tempted by ‘Muscle Shoals’ but developed into a natural big city Soul artist recording for 2 of the biggest US labels, MGM and RCA. All his tunes are top class, this 2 sider, under the control of Jimmy Wisner, may arguably be his finest 4 minutes and 39 seconds! Light label scar on top side. Couple of handling lines but plays M-)
