(2 cracking sides, ‘A chance’ is strong crossover, and ‘Betcha’ a grower on the low rider scene. Doing the rounds for 200-250)
Patti Williams – I’m doing the best I can – Forward 135 Promo M- £150
(Upbeat rag time girly dancer, on a spanking rarer demo)
Larry Atkins – Ain’t that love enough / Lighten up – Highland 1193 M- £400
(Can’t think of many better 2 siders, top class tunes and in immaculate condition)
Dean Courtney – Love you just can’t walk away / Betcha can’t change my mind – MGM 13776 Promo Ex £450
(Another outrageously good 2 sider, under the control of Jimmy Wisner. Light label scar on top side)
Danny Monday – Baby, without you – Modern 1025 WD £1000
(Always been a highly sought after tune on the scene, and a bona fide storming floor filler. Promo copy of course, never seen a stock copy. As you can see its wounded, there is water damage on the labels, top side has survived far better than the flip, which I don’t think is held in any esteem so whose looking at it? The good news is, if you are not caught up with the label aesthetics, the vinyl is at least excellent visually with a couple of light handling marks that don’t affect play in any way, and the audio is as good as you’ll get, a M- player that I can't detect any deterioration on. Up to £1700 for Ex or better copies, its a fair drop)

(Wow, one vocal, one instrumental, amazing label, Detroit at its most sublime)
Sam Dees – Lonely for you baby – SSS International 732 Ex £850
(Midtempo anthem, catapulted to the top by Sams gritty vocals. Radio station stamp on label. Couple of light lines on surface, but DNAP play which is M-)
