Super tough 45 to acquire with the few that have surfaced mostly in similar shape (pretty sure this is a recording issue as this one looks Vg+ - check out sone of the other YouTube clips for comparison) and seem to have still sold at a premium (£250-300 on three or four occasions). Stunning group soul ballad that’s long been sought after stateside by lowrider and group collectors alike. Some damp mottling to label, plays close to Vg+ but has a couple of light clicks on intro ***HEAR IT** clip below from actual 45.
Jonesetts - Stop, Look and Listen/Once I Had A Love (Cougar) Ex £60
Not had a copy of this gorgeous double sided girl group sweet soul for about four years, in which time it has increased in value quite considerably! With a couple of sales toping £100. Only copy on Discogs is £80+ and that’s from Germany so add the tax! Reasonably priced, two great sides and a tough 45!
Ronaldo Domino - I’m Hip To Your Game (Smash WD) Ex £40
Cheap (for now) but oh so so good. A killer lowrider that seems somewhat overlooked in favour of more expensive and elusive 45s. A shame because every home should have one of these! Gorgeous white demo too!
