What happened at Plinston on Friday? I think perhaps a towny (non soul fan) may have spilled his pint on the dancefloor once to often! Anyhoo, he was descended upon by a number of soulies who beat the living shit out of him, claret everywhere! Kenny and myself followed the incident to the foyer where the bouncers had the offending person forcibly removed. Hats off to Kay who handled the incident admirably as Neil had gone home with a cold.
In short I have only ever seen three disturbances at soul do's in twenty one years. Whilst the person in question may have deserved a pasting, the sight of such blood & guts was and is a little disturbing as we are all about music, dance and comradship. If anyone has any further info as to what happened or why, please do advise.
