Winehouse triumphs at Ivor awards

Amy Winehouse, Madonna and Arctic Monkeys were among the winners at the Ivor Novello Awards.

Winehouse scooped best contemporary song for her hit Rehab............

After it had been widely discussed, and generally agreed that it sounded like it was recorded 45 years ago....it gets voted best contemporary song at this years Novello's :unsure:

Breakthrough artist was Etta James :boxing:

Plenty been said on here about Amy ... she is a wonderful and talented POP MUSIC artiste ... but she has absolutely nothing to do with SOUL MUSIC .... there are other far more deserving true soul artists who deserve our space and attention on here .
