Just watched some dvd with keb doing his stuff, proper bloke...I ve lost two mates to the dreaded 'stuff ' for those that do it now and again? enjoy for those that hammer it...be careful guys and girls.

Have had several mates go that way, but I tend to think it was back in the day, when we were young and stupid, thought we were immortal, and could shove any old amount down our necks with impunity.

Of course we couldn't and some learned the hard way, but still think its a case of "Horses for courses, one mans meat". etc etc. 35yrs, still going strong, fit as a whippet! Don't drink, but to me still no more 'stupid' than getting legless of a weekend! There is something that will 'get' everyone, be it drugs, drink, smoking, gambling, food, etc. If you find the thing that addicts you then it can be 'game over'. If you are lucky, you never find it. What gets one doesn't neccesarily get another. For me, it's Soul Music, but a bit of 't'other goes down nicely, without any problems, if you use your noggin!

Got ya Bazza! Sensible option in your case, I agree. I'm just one of those spawny buggers that have made it this far without a single thing going wrong apart from the odd cold,no matter what I do to myself, and for that I am greatful!

Sorta`lived wi`Keb at the time,and Bruce had a flat down brikc lane....big fukc off Scottish flag in the front room,with his other mate....Chay we all bailled Bruce out at some time or other,Bruce could be funny as fukc but didnt have a clue how to say no,he even got kidnapped at some point but wont get into that,as for Keb one of the best but cant dance.

Keb is the bollox.

dont know him personaly, but back in my day, i used to attend events just to catch his sets. still got a few of his tapes. seemed like he had a sound all of his own.

just a shame the scowtish thing... lol

on the other thing. keith richards deserves some kind of lifetime award.
