ggggggnnnnnn  went on weekend bender and forgot to put snipe on Francis Faye's version of Comin Home Baby on Audio Fidelity. Obviously this has made me want it even more! It went for about £60, I'll pay £100.

Also, if anyone has Ernie Hines 'Our Generation' on We Produce on 45 I would like one. Not sure of value, as it's a not especially in demand funk track that's easy on LP, but maybe some stax completists or something might part with it for £40 or something.

cheers.

"our generation" was actually sampled by pete rock + cl smooth so it's sort of wanted for that (although rap people will generally only want the LP). I've talked to Ernie a few times, he still gets royalty checks from that record (pete rock) as it's on a major label. He was really proud of it, but kept on talking about how rappers liked to "cover" his songs.

Most people don't know much about Ernie, he's actually a Chicago artist, he's one of the writers of the Lovelites record on Bandera. He's an incredibly nice guy.
