Am in Paris sur le weekend and am wondering if anyone knows of any soulful clubs, bars, etc there? Not looking for a nighter, just somewhere to spend a couple of hours either this Friday or Sat evening.

Failing that....can anyone recommend any vegetarian restaurants or bars near the city centre? Oops that'll get me kicked into 'Freebasing' now....

You are probably better off asking in the Events - European section. I only know Lionel there; a soulie from Paris who you may find under the MEMBERS section or I can put you in touch if you PM me.

(Their big annual allniter usually clashes with Prestatyn, but hopefully not next year.)
