Every copy of this 45 I've ever seen has been a kind of purpley-red print on a glossy eggshell white background.

Has anybody ever seen or got one with black print on a matt white background?

I think it was a demo (black on white) that the Melton Mafia played about half an hour ago at No More Doggin'

But did it look like a normal Demo? ie with demo type markings, ie not for sale, promo, leter A, review copy, etc, etc. Or was it totally devoid of all markings to suggest it was a demo, just that it was black on a matt white background?

i don't think there were any marks to suggest it was a demo.

Anyhow, thanks to Kev for his VERY prompt and very useful initial response.

Can anybody else shed any further light on this?

Basically, who has a demo copy of this 45 and can they describe it / scan it so I can better understand the difference between the red and white one and the black and white one. Other than that colour difference, they are absolutely identical with nothing to suggest that the black and white one might be a demo.
