Can anyone give me some info on the Andy Smith nortern soul mix cd....Aint heard it....Don't like the sound of it with mix in the title but i will keep an open mind..I guess its for a different crowd than us lot on here...

There was a long discussion on here last year. the friday of Cleethorpes, he was doing a 'mix' Northern Soul night at the Jazz Cafe in Camden. I believe he has some link to Portishead, or perhaps thats where he is from?. He is a record producer/DJ. I think that says a lot

There's some clips on his website, or there were last time I looked, couldn't play much of it on dial-up at home but wasn't too impressed with what I did hear. Was going to go along out of curiosity when his tour reached Edinburgh but couldn't make it.
