I've been contacted by "Court Davis" and had some friendly email exchanges with him (no, he doesn't have any copies of the record*), seems to have a very interesting story so if any of the usual fanzine/magazine writers or radio people want his details I'll be happy to pass them on.

* he has the original acetate which is minus the string section though
