It's not northern, but Remember The Titans has a damns good soundtrack full of Motown stuff, and an acapella version of Ain't To Proud To Beg :rolleyes:

A couple of days ago I saw Super Cool (pretty funny IMHO) and it has some good early 70s stuff, and also a car chasing scene with Baby Please Don't Go by Them

If I'm Not Wrong, in a movie with Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock (Love At Second Sight or something like that) Mel Torme's I'm Coming Home is featured.

There are more, but can't recall right now :lol:
