The Gasher has given me a stay of execution Although hees not much chance of getting to me at the moment as I am snowed in. Think I will ride one of the Cows to the Spar in Alford to get some Milk

The clue is in the text

The word COW means you generally tend to get MILK from the cow.Not the spar

You just want to ride it in general dont you ?and not to the shops either
