Just been listening to the Five Stairsteps, but it reminded me of the other version, can't think who it's by & it's doing my head in.

I disagree, Five Stairsteps all the way for me. Shamettes is too plinky plonky. :hypo:

I always used to say I prefered the Five Stairsteps, but I think it was as much to wind my mate up as anything. I haven't heard the Shamettes for years so I'm not sure now.

Better than I thought it was but I think the Stairsteps has the edge. Better value for your money anyway.

Gets my vote for one of the worst records ever, and as much as I like the Stairsteps Mayfield output it's their worst on the label :hypo: Curtis Mayfield on a rare bad day.
