Hello one and all, recently dug out my old remnants of a record collection.

one of my records is a "White MOTOWN label"

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons "Hickory" produced by Bob Crewe. Its a promotional disc double A side Mono one side Stereo the other. The number for purist is M 1288F A. It was recorded in 74 by Stone diamond music.

Does anyone know anything about it I have never played it and obviously does it have any value?

hello biga,this was issued in the usa on motown-1288,f valli/4 seasons february 1974 a-side,hickory b-side charisma,motown have done quite a lot of double a side s/mono 45s over the years plus a lot using coloured vinyl,dont think it came this out on uk mowest or tmg as a 45,do not think you can retire on this one mate hope im wrong,

thanks for that biga,a lot of record companys and not just motown in the usa issued double a side 45s because if a dj accidently put on the b-side of a proper a and b side issue 45 it would be quickly taken off the decks and the next 45 was played thus the taken off 45 did not get any airplay due to time/slots etc, ,phew that was a bit long winded but hope this makes sense,ive sent myself to sleep,
