Work Your Soul!!

Saturday 17th. May 2008 sees the second night of 60s Club Soul, Ska, Rocksteady, Blue Beat, R&B and Skinhead Reggae at the Grandstand Club, Southport FC, Haig Avenue, Southport. PR8 6JZ.

Our first event took place a couple of months ago at the same venue and although the numbers attending were only between 30---40 it was a great night. The music was a mix of 60s soul, R&B and original Jamaican ska, rocksteady, etc. Everyone had a ball---so much so that we were invited to do another by the clubs management.

So if you fancy listening to some of this stuff come along to the Grandstand Club on the 17th. May-----should be a crackin' night and we expect the attendance to be well up as the word has got round about how good the first one was!

The night runs from 7.30pm----12.30am and admission is £4 on the door-----so come along for a superb night of moonstompin' sounds!

Hi there.....cheers for that, nothing planned at the moment but we'll see how Saturday goes----we've had quite a lot of interest in it so far.

I'll keep you posted.
