45 Info Wanted

Aaages ago on ebay there was a 45 from I think someone who was more known for his production/writing than his singing tho I'm also sure he's got a 60s rarity out there too. Pretty sure it's Detroit and circa '73.Twas a really really nice mid tempo thing. Sorry but its bugging me who / what it is.Any help much appreciated.
