June 16, 200816 yr Do you mean pleated, loose fitting trousers with turnups? If so you could try Unicorn in Nottingham for reasonably priced poly/cotton trousers like these: More details here. A bit more pricey, but much, much better quality IMO is Rocacha Tailoring in London. They have a few different styles of retro trousers but my favourites are their Peg trousers: These come in a huge variety of cloths, but you'd need to book an appointment to view the swatches at their premises in South Kensington. They do offer plain or chalk stripe fabrics on the website if your friend can't get to London and is happy with a plain colour - look at the ordering page for more details. Prices start at £85 for polyester, £95 for poly/wool, and £125 for wool going up to £150 for good quality worsted. They also have nice linen and cotton fabrics available if wool will be too heavy.
