Labi Siffre - What Is Soul ?

The eternal debate, isn't it ?

Most of the 'pop' tracks and artists that people try to pass off as 'soul' ... well, the less said the better.

But how about Labi Siffre ? Obviously not a "soul" man in the conventional sense, but he did possess a certain 'soulfulness' and there was a lot more to his recorded work than just "It Must Be Love".

One of his other lesser known hits was "There's Nothing In the World Like Love". For something different, this could make a nice little ender at the end of a soul night, check out this great 7T's clip and tell us what what you think ?
