I have sold quite a few 45s via this forum over the last few weeks and had great dealings with a lot of people.

Unfortunaetly I have to warn people about a member called brianc

This member for over a week was negotiating a price with me for some records, often taking a full day to reply to PMs (not really a problem).

After a week we came to a price on some of the 45s I was selling. I then waited for over a week for a cheque to arrive which never did.

Today I was told my attitude was not satisfactory and the buyer did not want to carry on with the transaction. I would of prefered the buyer to tell me a week ago that he had changed his mind and simply did not want to buy the records instead of making me wait for the records.

I realise some people may have dealt with brianc before and had no problems or may be friends with him.

All I can do is warn people about the problems and I have had and ask if anybody has had a similar experience.

Welcome to the reality of dealing in records...people who order records then change their mind for no apparent reason.

At least you were given a reason as to why he didn`t follow thru on the deal, most just stop responding to emails.

I now write down all the people who have done this then sure as eggs are eggs they try and order again and i offer them the record they previously ordered too.....

Really pisses me off.

i bought a record from brianc a couple of weeks ago and it arrived safety and in the condition he told me.

answers really took long but the deal was good all in all, sadly it took about 5 weeks from where i told him that i like to buy the record til' i got it...
