Renovations On Angel Town

hi. i just picked up a single by the renovations (angel town 101 - 'thanks to him/as we danced'). does anyone know anything about these guys? just curious because it sounds really 'white' to me - tamborine, 'hey hey hey' backing vocals, and a really garage/mod sound (almost like The Music Machine or something). it's written/produced by 'R.Relf' is that Bob Relf?
