July 18, 200915 yr I see John is auctioning a rare issue of this class record, I'm still looking for a Detroit label carrying this track! Why would Harold Beatty let Cream (chardax music) or Henry have this fantastic track without it being on a Detroit outing first? Steve J Edited July 18, 200915 yr by SteveJohnston
July 28, 200915 yr This is an old PITCHES & Yarmouth spin of mine. I hammered it for almost a decade, much prefering it to the 'Since You Been Gone' side which Sam later picked up on and used quite frequently. I've had two issues (one styrene and one vinyl) and several Demos. I sold the spare Issue (Styrene) a couple of years ago for around £150. Pretty rare issue in my experience. Its pure Southern Soul, recorded at Royal Studios - Cream Hi Records, 1320 S. Lauderdale Street, Memphis, so absolutely no surprise that it came out on Cream. There will be no Detroit label, that's for sure. Something Drastically Wrong? Not at all. It's bloody perfect! Sean
July 28, 200915 yr Another piece of quality you put me onto Mr H . I've had two styrene copies and got rid as the sound quality was not brilliant on either of them. Not low or anything but a sort of vibration. Vinyl copy is but a dream unfortunately Quality tune.
