I hereby nominate myself as divvy of the week -Steve Cranny came round and we went through the boxes sorting some good old tunes out and found a few belters, decided to clean a few grubby,s up and cracked Barbara Mills - Queen of fools ,here,s the heartbreak - it was given to me by Terry Adams mother after his tragic death on his batchelor nite so the record has many memories for me,I was looking for another copy just to play and nearly keeled over when I saw the scans somebody posted of the label -its the same one Ive got ,a white promo with the painted desert text ,anyway the price of it was an eyeopener seems to be going from 50 -80 quid, Ive been looking for the post I saw (think it was by another Gateshead soulie -Chris-od) but cant find it,I was talking to Paul Conroy on Sat nite at the St.Doms soul do and he believes there,s loads of presses kicking about but no luck finding one as yet.
