    Yet again  , seller  listing a 45 on here for £60  , available for £45 ish from craig moerer and 2 recently sold on ebay for under a tenner

     

    price things correctly and they will sell , dont make others pay for your buying mistakes or your greed when selling

    I guess so Mike - because the other night you might recall I tried a plain post and it let me add three tags.

     

    Could be correlation rather than cause-and-effect, but the only time I have had a problem with tags is when I am posting sales, and I always have attachments then.

    if it is using attachemnts thats causing it for now have to ask that you just use 2 tags

    i can later try and track error down but just not right now

     

    I realise why I wasn't getting it, I've never seen down to the bottom of the page, after I read the last post I just go back to the top

     

    also if you click on teh tag you then get took to a page listing all the posts tagged the same

     

    can be a handy navigation aid

    eg say for a artist

    or could be used for other stuff such as podcasts, sales and so on

    Oh - don't want to mislead anyone; it's not by "Thurston Day" - I simply used the company sound cloud account - Thurston Day Ltd.  Took it down from soundcloud and replaced it with an MP3

     

     I do know who it's by, but I'm not saying at the moment.

    can you swop it back to the soundcloud clip as mp3s goes against site policy

    What actually is the point of tags?  Making it easier to search for stuff at a later date?

     

    theory is that it by using them it offers another level of navigation

     

    a thread about a 45 could be tagged say with artist or title or label tags

    people can then with just a click view related posts quickly

     

    however as with all things on here it falls down cause people don't use them

    Happened again last night when posting in sales.

     

    Only had three tags, but it told me I could only post three (as if I had more). These were single word tags.

     

    There were two scans and two MP3 attached to the post.

     

    I needed to delete one tag, so I only had two, to be able to post it.

    is there anything in common when it gives you grief

    eg does it happen with attachments only or etc

    A couple of days ago I received an extremely hateful attacking personal message regarding my initial post (now edited) in this thread. It called into question & put down my love & knowledge of soul music, what our soul alldayer events are trying to achieve & above all my personal character. Contrary to this person's words, I do not have a "personal vendetta" against anyone else, anywhere & my initial post contained absolutely no personal attacks of any kind towards anyone. I know that as a record collector, DJ, musician & soul fan I was not alive when this other person was going to northern soul nights in the UK. I can never attempt to speak on what those days or that scene was like. At only 34 years old I do what I do & know what I know. If the last 15 years of travelling overseas to Paris, the UK, the US & Australia DJing soul music & digging through millions of original 45s, releasing my own 45s & meeting, digging & DJing is still not enough that I am attacked personally & have my credentials & knowledge of the music as well as my fibre as a person run down. I really don't know what else I can say. I am saddened that a tiny throwaway non-personal comment on an internet message board sparked such a personal attack. I am sorry for any offence I caused to anyone. It was not intended.

    Anyone that has seen Keb's pictoral and video evidence please foward this to news agencies as I have done, in fact any media agencies, as this disaster is already off the front pages and the situation is only just becoming known ....and is in danger of being sidelided by Boris Johnson closing ticket offices
