I have always danced to pretty much anything and everything regardless of wether I have heard it before, when the beat grabs you, you just go, you cant help it. Only thing that stops me these days is the dodgy knees, so I choose the tempo wisely

Yes I heard this as I was driving home, my ears pricked up when I heard Move on up being played (on radio 4, that must be a first)the Casper Melville guy mentioned 80s rare groove and his involvement in that scene. I love to hear these intellectual type discussions on popular culture.

Top Quality White Card Sleeves. Any Interest?

I would love to get hold of some of these sleeves as most of my collection is in these, as bought in the 70s, I am now using the plain white card sleeves and find they mark or scratch the playing surface, never noticed any probs with the poly lined sleeves sweating. Seem to remember picking these up in packs of 10 ? in certain record shops, in the 70s. -

Thankfully I'm only on my second marriage (to a wonderfull woman, i hasten to add) and she "tolerates" my addiction to vinyl, but i have one hand firmly on the handle of my record box whenever theres an arguement in the air, and it will be the first thing out of the door with me.
