He recorded a couple of 45s and an excellent (and fairly hard to find) album for the Abet label. 'Chain of Fools' is appeared on 45, as well as a track on the LP 'The Jimmy Brown Organ-ization'. there's a link to the podcast he put "chain of fools" on here: https://funky16corner...rdpress.com/200 ... ans-vol-2/ ends in a few hours... looks like it might go cheap! lots of cool gospel up in the next batch: Lula Collins, Sensational Cymbals, etc - some 45s next week...

I've got a copy up for auction right now and it is clean - but there is some distortion behind her vocals at different times during the song. I didn't hear it when I created the sound clip. Strange - sounds like the channel needs to be cleaned or a needle issue or something - except I hear it on three different turntables - and only with this record. BUT - when I play it in Mono on our good turntable - distortion goes away. So - I'm wondering if this is a pressing issue with the record in general - or just an issue with my copy. If it is pressed in Mono - and that could be all it is - or if it is defective single. I've added a note about the distortion in the Q&A on the auction - but I don't want to stick someone with a bum copy (if that's what it is). I dunno - any thoughts appreciated...

Haven't seen this one before - pretty good! If you ever see "Pig Feets" Pt 1 and 2 by him - grab it! absolutely insane and manic organ grinder instro with honks and screams and all sorts of stuff. Can't remember the label now - I'll check the box tonight if anyone is interested...

Jack Southern - Darlene on Challenge Three Tuffs - A Man's a Fool/What a Dream on Gold Dust Not really traditional soul - Jack SOuthern is a mid-60s rocker - but think I've seen it on Popcorn lists... Three Tuffs is cool raw R&B from Memphis... Any help appreciated!

Jeb Stuarts are all worth listening to - at the very least... awesome - and never turn up - especially the one on Bingo... These end tomorrow.
