SILKTOWN SOUL UNLIMITED The return of a much loved venue Macclesfield Masonic Hall is RISING AGAIN !! Reigniting those dancefloor moments on what is one of the best dancefloors in the area With a quality sound system...prepare for a FULL ON Northern soul experience at one of the areas most popular venues over the past few years Doors open at 7pm close at 1am Still only £5 A warm welcome awaits friends old and new SPREAD the word...we don't want you to miss this one !!! We are excited to welcome 2 guest DJ's who we know take 'no prisoners' when it comes to dancefloor reaction Firstly its a pleasure to welcome AMY HODKIN who is another of those Lady DJ's who absolutely focus totally on playing to the floor...a real 'dancefloor pleaser' Amy has just returned from a hugely successful DJing stint at the monster Cleethorpes Weekender !!! Add in appeareances at The Dome in London and ALL stops inbetween complete an impressive and building reputation as 'one to watch' Secondly I haven't got the space to note all this guys achievements on the DJ circuit !! NIGE BROWN....doesn't need any introduction as such...DJing gigs all over Europe and ALL the major gigs in the UK 100 club , Blackpool weekenders. Kings Hall Allnighters etc etc etc. The list is way too long to reference here........................... Nige has been in the upper echelons of UK Northern Soul DJing for years...and you can take that to the bank !! (as the kool dudes say ) !! I would gamble there's hardly anyone on the 'scene' over the years that hasn't been to an event where Nige was DJing ..yeah really...a true 'go to' DJ to work the floor !! ps : Just a few 'housekeeping notes and polite requests Can we ask that if you really need to use talc...can it be kept to a bare minimum and not sprayed liberally over the floor area..it really is a nuisance for the staff tending the floor afterwards Can we also ask if anyone wants to video the dancers can they please refrain..its important that we protect peoples privacy Finally can we also remind people the last entry will be strictly 10.45pm..we think as we open at 7pm nearly 4hrs is plenty time to get there and it gives our door staff opportunity to ensure the rest of the night continues to run smoothly ********** what a night awaits !! ***************** Whether you're an ardent dancer...an enthusiastic foot tapper or partake in the occasional nodding of the head THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU !!

*A SPRINGTIME..BIG SOUL NIGHT OUT ************ **************************************** Had quite a few asking about car parking...well there is a big Sainsburys car park (check any time restrictions in place)across the road AND a big car park at Wharfe Rd (behind Wetherspoons) free from 6pm.Both these are a 2 minutes walk from the venue Travel safe See you all later

Staff at the Masonic are really looking forward to this...whilst prepping the dancefloor as they always do !! It really does 'make the difference' to the event...a meticulously cared for dancefloor...complimented with 'fully loaded' and Full On Northern Soul for that dancefloor...just add the Silktown Soul tribe ..and BOOOOOOOM !! ..we're off !! Pretty much nails it mate Two more dancefloor focused DJ's.... Ozz Osborne of course needs no introduction....a resident DJ and regularly filling the best dancefloor in the land at Blackpool Tower !!...best CV entry you can get !!! Work a dancefloor ?..watch him go !!! Kelly is one of the growing band of Lady DJ's fast gaining a reputation by playing out at allnighters and quality soul nights up and down the land...where filling the dancefloor is paramount.!!..when she's not DJing..she's dancing...need I say more ................ Its serious stuff !! what a night awaits !!

Get here late afternoon and sample the many pubs and fast food outlets Biddulph has to offer all within a couple of mins stroll from the venue ready for a 6pm start !! Try out the massive Wetherspoons beforehand--- complete with beer garden at the rear with views over to Mow Cop Last event here was a corker....!! Entry cost frozen at 2024 prices !!!

View from the bridge' ...after a rousing January event ..planning is reaching its final stages to ensure March event 'hits the spot' Staff and management are really looking forward to it !! Spread the word..this really is a quality venue....and we have guest DJ's to really give us that 'Masonic groove'

First time visit for Paul and myself here...well worth it...friendly crowd , enjoying a great mix of sounds and were not afraid to get on that dancefloor for a 'boogie'....A quality night out !!! A 5 star rating from us for sure !!
