With a 'period' arched tunnel entrance leading to a fabulous hidden gem boasting a true underground vibe! check out the 'nooks and crannies'..explore the rooftop terrace for a chillout and a chat ************************************************ Be impressed with the acoustics in there...low ceilings, no windows...a really retro space !!!! A grade 2 listed building now hosting a FTMNTC event ************************************* ..This venue has an almost built in, vibe to it...add the music and the atmosphere levels hit the roof !!! ..plus a quality guest DJ......looking good for sure -

Travelling by car ? Easy access...under 20 mins from J17 and J18 M6.... unique town centre venue in South Cheshire There are 2 free car parks under 5 mins walk from the venue Antrobus Street, CW12 1HB West Street, CW12 1JR -

Relentlessly pursuing something a little bit different than the norm blended in with traditional sounds from across the eras...in short a mix of most things..in one atmospheric venue.....its what gives it the VIBE this IS town centre action !!! -
Finally its here..this evening...lets have a little 'deep dive' * a LONG Bank Holiday weekend * A Manchester derby for the FA Cup final *Weather set fair after all the rain * A celebration of 6yrs from the Sneyd Arms Tunstall to now * An early 7 pm start...why not get here a bit earlier and try a drink on the rooftop terrace taking advantage of the lighter nights ..before we 'kick off' in the Club *A special thanks to all the FTMNTC enthusiasts as we make it a 'FREE ENTRY' event * A true retro style town centre 'club space' with great acoustics and quality sound system ...and finally from a personal point of view I shall look forward to revisiting some of those northern sounds from the Sneyd early days in my sets....Dancefloor pleasers and familiar beats....Cygnet has a fab little dancefloor and looks 'cool as' when full !! Lets have a night out in town.....

On it like a car bonnet !! .. One of those 'names' from the past oft mentioned in revered terms....evoking memories for many !! Looking forward to a busy and 'booming' night...quality rare and classic Northern Soul is on the menu!! OOOHH yes please !!!!!!!!!!!!!

just reflecting back on last Saturday night at the fabulous Cygnet Club ....and it just reinforces why I actually go out on this 'scene'....to hear great music played loudly...simple innit !!!! Last night didn't disappoint !!!! the residents pulled out all the stops and delivered some of what I can only describe as 'turntable beasts!!! ' smiling faces around the room was feedback enough...~then................................. Johnny Beggs nonchalantly steps up...THEN it hit us...the realisation that what we were hearing no one else in the country was hearing.....imagine ALL those events No really...those who know...know. WE all know DJ's who play one offs and exclusives...great for the enthusiasts out there......BUT and i dont spell it with a double TT....probably over half of Johnny's set was exclusive ....to him !!! (oh did I mention QUALITY exclusives.)... yeah really no one else has got them....you cant value stuff like that... in a scene where excellence is oft linked to expensive....then what price those gems he spun .....priceless No IMB crap with his set....it was mostly IHB and only his... He did warn us at the start...venues on that night wont be playing this stuff.............HOW RIGHT HE WAS....and how pleased I was, well we ALL were to be in that room last night ......a mighty fine experience indeed The Cygnet VIBE ? oh he had that in his arse pocket.....with aplomb !!!! Still grinning ........................................................ and I bet I'm not the only one lol We'll be asking Johnny again...and you can take that to the bank !!

The interest is growing fast....the curious are wondering what goes on down at 'The Cygnet'..... lets hope they dont all turn up at once lol Seriously there is plenty of room in the building.....PLUS we have the alfresco roof terrace where we can meet and chill and gaze over the 'bright lights' of town why not RE IMAGINE your Saturday night out.................... here in leafy South Cheshire ...........

Situated in the 'bowels' of a Grade 2 listed building and boasting a fabulous town centre location....here in South Cheshire Features include ..nooks and crannies, rooftop alfresco sit out area ..A welcoming and relaxing entrance/foyer chill out space..to escape the hustle. and bustle of the dancefloor Amazing acoustics and in a completely 'self contained' space....you can really get 'lost in music' in here !! Great news !!...More dates throughout 2024 for this new venture ...please note : These wiill be ALL Saturdays as we listened to feedback.....and have the potential to run a lot later than before. Lets get down to the real nitty gritty here at FTMNTC !!
