Well, I`ve just about managed to play the last batch of CDs to death so i guess its time to do it all over again...Lets keep it to the same 25 guys as so many of you have requested. I`m sure you will agree that the quality of the last batch of CDs was amazing.... So, we need a theme, already had a few suggestions....so whats it gonna be??? Suggestions so far are.....LP tracks again, under £50 45s, stuff that hasn`t been on CD before, forgotten 70s oldies... To all the guys who participated last time.....Please confirm your participation and if we have some spare places we will open it up to other people....dont wish to be elitest but this was requested by many of the first swapees! Dj'ing Soul At Non-soulies' Wedding
I have been planning the music to mine and Helens wedding..its the only thing i am in charge of! Have gone for a mix of tamla, 70s disco, philly....with a few cheesy tunes on stand by....but a few real quality tunes on standby in case its going really well....I`m also doing a set myself ( much to my future mother-in-laws disgust!).....I just looked at the guest list and only a third of the invitees are "proper" soulies....so better play safe..... Manship
Ted, I wouldnt say KOS was "turning up"...we found 10 a couple of years ago, then a couple of knackered copies went thru ebay....then nothing until Dave Thorley found 2 warped copies in Chicago a few months ago...i believe the one in the auction was one of those copies. If you know of any others i stand corrected. I still rate it about a grand..... "hyped mess"!? I take it you aint got one then! See you around mate... Chris.

What's Going On? Top Tunes Going For Nowt
I noticed it at the big record show in PA recently, loads of big items for sale with even bigger price tickets and a lot of dealers who would`nt come down ended up taking the records home with them. Once they have seen a copy go through ebay or looked on popsike they think that is the going rate. One dealer who has about 3000 good northern 45s prices them on popsike and uses the guides, we visited him and bought about 12 records, we have been leaving the same records there for 3 years due to the prices. as we were leaving he said "next time you come, you can go through all this stuff again and tell me what its worth to you and we can cut a deal". Maybe the penny is beginning to drop. I still think that the big records in E+ or M- condition will still attract a good price but i do think it has levelled off over the last 2 to 3 years. Chris

Please order all records by email to chris.soul@btinternet.com Cheers, Chris- Midas Touch Records List 30
Hi Guys, Well we have reached list 30, and I`m happy that I`m still able to bring you some quality soul at bargain prices! Please pay promtly for records ordered from this list and i`ll do my best to get them out before i go away in search of more vinyl gold! Just a word about reserving records, please reserve all records by email, when i confirm the record is available this is your committment to buy, i will then tell all other customers the record has gone. Just lately i have had some customers ordering records then a couple of days later saying they dont want them, meanwhile i have already turned down other potential buyers. If you are enquiring about a record but not sure if you definatly want it then please tell me, i`ll hold it until you confirm but at least i can manage other customers expectations. I always try to grade records accurately although its impossible to play every record, that's why I offer a money back guarantee if not completely satisfied for any reason. Gradings are as follows; M-Faultless, probably unplayed, E- Very clean and a nice copy. VG - Used but plays through ok with some light noise, great for DJing with. Please order ALL RECORDS by email, first come, first served, however if you need to call me please do so.(01283 536359) P&P is £1.50 for up to 2 x 45 and £2.60 per LP, obviously cheaper if you buy more than one item. Please pay by cheque, cash, IMO or by using your credit card through www.paypal.com. PLEASE PAY WITHIN 7 DAYS or risk losing your reservation.IMPORTANT;WITH EVERY ORDER PLEASE INCLUDE A NOTE STATING EXACTLY WHICH RECORD YOU ARE ORDERING,THE RECORD NUMBER AND YOUR ADDRESS, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DELAY YOUR ORDER .Please make all cheques out to C.Anderton and send to; C.Anderton, 1 Jackson Av, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6LL. I`ll be spinning at the excellent "Three Greyhounds" soul night in Middlewich, Cheshire, on March 10th, this is a great event with a very 70s/ crossover/mid-tempo theme to it. Its always a great night and the music is second to none. Email me if you want to know any further details. I`m still working on my own litlle Sunday night do...watch this space for details.
