  2. Hello Kathy............................................................ Didnt I see you and "King Gerry" on Bargain hunt or something similar a short time ago. 4. I've just been on e-bay to "ave a look" at this & the price is up to £3250.00. Also the high bidder is a North Wales DJ/Collector. As to there being 3 known copies, does this include the one Pat Brady had. I beleive he sold it to a Foreign collector. Regards to all Ritchie.
  5. Pat & Pam I'm the one who loves you G E C. Linda Foreman Lets get it togther Public. Two more goodies that deserve plays IMHO. Regards to all Ritchie.
  6. just like to say............The Kittie Doswell on H E S is an AWSOME record miss it at your peril ?
  7. Regarding Margaret littles & the Moments (both previously mentioned) the successfull bidder on both items wasThermtite(9). These two items together cost............................................................................ .............................. £6151.36, thats not bad for two days spending on e-bay. Does anybody know who this person is. Perhaps Ian Levine is making another come back!
  8. Hello Gash, Still want the Roy Roberts on Tina ? Please contact me on 01492 871893 after 19 30 pm. Regards
  9. Dancing is a part of life its one of the thrills of young America........................ etc. OK lets put the case into perspective. Many moons ago along with a strict dress code, lifestyle, attitude, record collection etc, most people on the scene wanted to be respected as "Good Dancers". Possibly the first "dancin' superstar" was Frank Booper New from Widnes. Promotors, seeing an angle on upping the attendences put on the competitions. The one I remember best was the one @ Whitchurch Civic all dayer, Booper lost that day but was still regarded as a Hero by the crowd. Fast forward to now & most aspects of the scene then, are no longer relevent, (except good records). Things change people move on no one wants Dancin' Comps. However I still see a few people trying to look like 60's Mods. and as the style thing has never died off, will Dancin' Comps be resureccted as well ? Best Regards to all Ritchie.
  10. Nice one Mark The phyllis brown is worth about £150. Its a great uptempo dancer that deserves more plays I H M O. Have you found any of the others yet ? I've noticed a few nice records "slip through the net" on e-bay recently Best regards to all Ritchie

  12. Hello everybody I've been back colllecting for 2 years now and yes the prices have risen dramaticaly since 1977 (when i sold a lot of good stuff). To put the case into perspective, can the rise in prices be sustained?.......you better beleive it can because if you think that some rare records are dear now just wait till this time next year!. As Dave Rimmer rightly said most people are not in it for profit, they just love the music. Most rare records by definition stay rare so "get em if you can while you can". Best regards to all Ritchie.
  13. Mc.........Is the other side of this called love, respect & understanding ? If it is, I've got one available
