Well it turns out that Mr Boogaloo has dropped a mighty clanger on the Hit the Bongo night on the 24th October. Didn't know I had to apply for a late licence til 2am so Hit the Bongo will be running from 8pm til' 11pm on Friday. Sorry if causes anyone inconvenience. I've spoken to the DJs and they're still happy to spin so we will continue. So if you hated Latin and you're coming along you get 2 hours less . Also I've reduced the admission to nothing to make up for it

Subway Soul is brilliant but think it's on the 3 sat of the month. Loads going on tho. Finewine's on here, he'll know what's what. Weinstein I think is his soul-source name. An excellent city. Cheers Warren

Whaaaat!!!! I missed out. How do I get one of these elusive beauties. I'm jealous.

Loads of latin tunes are played at Mod/RnB do's but I've been playing Latin at Northern clubs for years now. Tunes such as Manny Corchado, Tony Middleton, Bobby Valentin, Hector Rivera and they go down a stormer. Can't get away with too many but they are being more appreciated outside of the mod scene. Realise they're not to everyone's taste but you could say the same about RnB 6-7 years ago.

Running a 100% latin soul and boogaloo night 'Hit the Bongo' next Friday 24th Oct at Filthy McNastys in London. Now I have to admit you can't get enough Latin but sometimes I do get comments that it's s***** and shouldn't be played on the Northern scene. Do you love it or hate it. If you do love it which tunes float your boat?
