    Boogaloosoul - London - Plumsted

Playing the best in Northern Soul, RnB and Motown to full houses of enthusiastic soulies for the last 18 years has been one hell of a pleasure. We're not in Greenwich any more but will be running one offs now and again to keep Soul music live in Sarth East Landan. Guests on the night will be Dave Duplock from Walls of Heartache (who needs no accolades) and Keith Lloyd 'who is one of our 'youngest' regulars and one of the most passionate Northern Soulsters around. These esteemed guests will joined by resident Warren Boogaloo (who also needs no accolades or compliments). If you've not been before it's a great venue with a big wooden dancefloor, friendly staff and very convenient parking outside. Cheap, cheap beer and the friendliest welcome you'll get in any soul club 7pm til 1am Upsatairs at the Greenwich Town Social Club, 2-12 Blackwall Lane, Greenwich, London, SE10 0AN To mark the occasion it's FREE ENTRY to those who arrive at 7pm on on the dot and only £5 on the door afterwards 'till 1.00. e-mail boogaloosoul@yahoo.co.uk or call Warren on 07838 181 375

Beverly Ann - He's coming home - Charity Auction

Last push to see if I can finally get the record sold. Got a just giving page for the recent Kent Coast Half Marathon completed last week. Raised over £100 for Paul doing that so this would be the cherry on the cake. Still taking offers. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/warren-wint?utm_id=106&utm_term=xVyxb7wVb

Beverly Ann - He's coming home - Charity Auction

Another plug for this one. Didn't get any bids so I'll leave it up to offers.
  7. Beverly Ann - He's coming home - Original RCA White Demo - Charity auction My old mate Paul Thomas-Peter (one of the founding djs of the infamous 'These Old Shoes' soul night in London) is suffering from cancer and is trying to fund his treatment. There's a link below if you wish to donate but what I'm going to do is auction online a record with all the money raised going to Paul's treatment. Hopefully this will help in a small way to seeing back to health one of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet on the soul scene. He's Coming Home/He Wont See The Light Vinyl Condition VG+ Few marks on vinyl and plays through fine without pops and crackles - Great for djing. I'll start the bid at £125 and the highest at 6pm Sunday 30th April gets it. I'll send it off once the winning bidder has pledged and paid online at the site below. I'll cover the postage up to £5 Even if you don't want the record you can pledge some money to Paul on the site. Dig deep folks. We've all got more records than we've got friends so nice to be able to use what we have to make a difference. https://www.gofundme.com/savepaulfromcancer

  10. First show next Sunday folks. I'll post up details during the week of where you can listen and timings. I'll also be doing a podcast of the show so you can listen at your leisure. Any gigs or shouts for dos let me know and I'll try to fit them in. Cheers
  11. Hi y'all I'm going to start an internet radio show called, funnily enough, Boogaloosoul and will feature tunes of a Latin flavour, 60s Boogaloo, Latin soul from 60s to present day, Latin funk in fact anything that I think would interest those who like this particular slice of music mayhem. I’ll let everyone know the start date but probably going to be in May or early June. I’m obviously going to play tunes from the collection but I’d also like to feature some relevant info about the scene/music etc, It’ll run initially twice a month so anyone interested in this can help by: letting me know which clubs are out there featuring this type of music as I’m going to do a gig guide any current tunes being released that fit the bill clips and links of any tunes they have found on the web interesting links and info that give a history of the music, labels, artistes, clubs etc in fact anything that you might deem appropriate More details to come but looking forward to this new project. Cheers Warren

  14. Just to clarify the offer situation. It was just the 7th Avenue that was on offer all others were set sale. Cheers
  15. Hi Folks First of all. Apologies to those whom I've offended with this. Wasn't my intention and I certainly wouldn't do it again. I've pm Rod and said that if he feels my actions warrant a ban from Soul Source I'm OK with that. I've informed the highest bidder that they won the offer so unless they felt they were happy for it go back on set sale I'd have to honour our agreement. As for the pms and other messages from the sales list I've literally had no time due to work issues other than 30 mins yesterday to reply to the messages about the other tunes. I thought I'd replied to them all but obviously I'd missed some and as you no doubt can see I don't like to miss a sales opportunity. I'm going to have to wait a few days until I've cleared that backlog but I promise to contact everyone who messaged me. Hope this answers the queries and again apologies
