Our July Event is again one week early on the 19th. It will be another top night of "Across The Board" Norther Soul Music. Our Guest DJ's this mont are Mick Casey and Joe Lakin -
On hot, sticky and sultry night in June so many of our friends decided to join us, so we must say a huge thank you to you all. We must say thank thank you too our guest DJ for the evening Michael Johnson and our resident DJ's Richard, Paul and David who all provided great music to listen & dance (yes dance) too. We also say thank you to our hosts Mark & Theresa Grafton and their staff for keeping everyone topped up with their tipple and fianally it would be unfair not to mention "Slim Boy (Maddog) Wayne Holehouse" for keeping the peace. We must say thank to Richard Tomes for donating the raffle prizes this month which raised £100 for our charity Bluebell Wood Childers Hospise. Our next event in July is on the 19th (this so we don't clash with Parklands) so please do make a note of this change in your diaries. Carol & Billy :-) x

Bridlington Northern Soul Weekender Official Warn Up Event On Thursday 26th of June. At the Revelstoke Hotel, Flambrough Road, Bridlington. Music policy is “Across The Board” 7:30pm through to 12:30am. Free Entry!! Guest DJ this year is Dean Webb of J36 & East Dene Soul Clubs. With resident DJ’s Alan Monsey, Ian Seamen, Jinksy and myself Billy Back Drop.

After a very successful May event, there is only a week to go to our June event which is on the 21st (one week earlier than normal, due to us attending the Bridlington Spa Northern Soul Weekender event). Here is the order of play for the up & coming evening :- 7pm - 8pm Richard 8pm - 9pm Paul 9pm - 10pm David 10pm -11pm Mick J (our guest DJ) 11pm - 12pm Billy As always I will have Bridlington Spa and Scarborough Spa Northern Soul Weekender tickets with me for sale, at only £35 each. Carol and I are looking forward to "welcoming you" to our little club where we play "Accross The Board" northern soul music!

This Saturday the 29th, Bassetlaw Soul Club. Accross The Board Northern Soul Music. Our Guests this month are John Callaghan and Ian Hamilton. The Soul Sisters Anne & Julie will be joining us on the balcony. From this month onwards you will recieve a free raffle ticket for our monthly raffle (you can purchase more if you wish at only £1 per ticket) on entry. First prize this month are a pair of Bridlington Spa Weekender tickets, kindly donated by The ECSC and will be presented by Robert Wigley. There will also be a 2nd prize and of course the Booby Prize.

Carol and I would like to say a huge thank you to each and every person that chose to spend last saturday evening with us at Bassetlaw Soul Club, it was heart warming to see so many of you supporting us. We must say thank you to our chosen guest DJ's Kevin Bruce and Joe Whittle, our resident DJ's Paul Dooley, Richard Tomes and Hawkeye, who all played wondeful sets. Also thank you to Mark & Theresa Grafton and their staft for hosting us and their hard work behind the bar. Finally thank you to everyone whos bought a raffle ticket in support of our choosen charity Bluebell Wood, which raised £130. We will be doing it all again nexy month when our guest DJ's are John Callaghan and Ian Hamilton, so hopefully we will see you once again. X
