I was a couple o' year older than hovis so i moved in slightly different circles at casino, used to knock about with joey haughton (who later joined the navy), paul mc eaver. ian galvin, ces, scally (mike atherton), scotch mac (donald mc donald), and too many reprobates to mention. but did a lot o' niters with hovis after casino burned down. ps are the records on those sale lists still the same price? lol.

Hovis.... yeh knew him well, from oldham same as me, infact only spoke to him 2 months back. also that lass Kath who worked at osram in shaw, was my wife, sadly passed away in the 90s.
