Des Parkers first name is actually Quentin. He is somewhat embarressed by his first name, so years ago asked Beggsy to give him a new first 'nickname' The 'Des' is actually short for 'Desperate' (not Desmond as you might presume) Beggsy decided this was a good name cus 'Des' would DJ at the opening of an envelope if asked. Well, I would have been able to help you out with a nice promo of Marty Hill if I hadn't tried to stupidly remove an edge warp (that didn't actually affect play) over a steaming kettle yesterday and turned it into a funky ashtray..... Don't suppose you smoke do you?

Britannia Stadium on right..Turn off A50 on 3rd exit for Longton East and Normacot.
