The Best Of Margie Joseph and Hurt Of The City LPs
I would of possibly got mine from a second hand shop or record fair at least 20 years ago and they are in very good condition. I know I wouldn't of paid more than a few pound each, no more than Β£5 at the time. Would these be worth much more now or just an oddity to a collector to have? No intention to sell anything at the moment, but as time goes on

I also have a various artist LP, The Hurt Of The City kent records, in the same format. These are both unplayed by me has my decks went years ago. Thanks

While out in the woods the other day i came across what i thought was a badger set untill i saw the remains of a couple of legs from some animal so I'm guessing it might be a fox den but unsure. The blue bells are a bit on the flat side so i guess the area is well used. Anyone any ideas

Fantastic photo πOrange Tips seem to be the in butterfly this spring along with the Brimstone, especially on the Carrington Moss area where there seems to be hundreds of them. All the other suspects but these two have really taken off this spring. Not seen as many for donkeys years.

Manchester Ritz
Turned into a great thread this. First went to the Ritz in the late 70's early 80's, northern/funk dayers. The northern niters of the 90's, the warm ups at the Temple of Convenience, The Attic at the Thirsty Scholar pub. The Motown niter, rarest of the rare. Massive place with that sticky carpet that was still sticky at the early 2000 revival dayers. The que to get in then went all the way up whitworth street. Who could ever forget the bouncing floor and the underground Warren π Good times π A picture of our crowd on the balcony at one of the niters

Manchester Ritz
Had some great times at the Ritz and not all soul related π This may give an insight to the place plus there's a good video of the Manchester club scene including the Ritz. https://www.manchestersfinest.com/uncategorized/building-secrets-ritz/

The only decent photos I have of the Cuckoo. The first two are from the hills above Capel Curig, Wales 2013 and the third is from the Isle of Mull 2019. A lot easier to hear than to spot and a lot harder to get on a small compact camera at full zoom. One sound I'll miss this while camping and hiking this springtime.

Cheers mate. It's at this time of the year that the cuckoo's start to appear and echo all round the valleys. A great sound around the empty hills but only managed to photo a couple. Last year on Mull there must of been a dozen making a right old racket, a fantastic sound even if you don't spot them π
