  1. I would of possibly got mine from a second hand shop or record fair at least 20 years ago and they are in very good condition. I know I wouldn't of paid more than a few pound each, no more than Β£5 at the time. Would these be worth much more now or just an oddity to a collector to have? No intention to sell anything at the moment, but as time goes on
  2. Thanks for info. First wet day of lockdown i decide to sort the loft out and spent 2 hours going through my vinyl. Just curious about a few things. Thanks
  3. I have an LP from Germany I think, that came out via Ace Records maybe late 80s early 90. Only info is a one sheet insert. Not sure where i got it from but any info gratefully recieved. I also have a various artist LP, The Hurt Of The City kent records, in the same format. These are both unplayed by me has my decks went years ago. Thanks
  4. Yes mate, couldn't smell anything and apart from the two remains, no visable evidence apart from piles of soil and flattened vegetation.
  5. While out in the woods the other day i came across what i thought was a badger set untill i saw the remains of a couple of legs from some animal so I'm guessing it might be a fox den but unsure. The blue bells are a bit on the flat side so i guess the area is well used. Anyone any ideas
  6. Fantastic photo πŸ‘Orange Tips seem to be the in butterfly this spring along with the Brimstone, especially on the Carrington Moss area where there seems to be hundreds of them. All the other suspects but these two have really taken off this spring. Not seen as many for donkeys years.
  7. A busy bee on a dandelion today
  8. Yes mate. The ground is 2 miles from our house so a good walk/bike ride all round Carrington moss and very quiet.
  9. Ah ok. These ones are next to MUFC training complex so i thought that might be a connection 😁. This is my small patch of garden on the front drive with the white ones
  10. From todays bike ride. Bridge & tree reflections on the canal, and some pink bells. Anyone know how these came about? I have some white ones in the garden but not seen the pink ones before.
  11. Yes mate, a 10 minute walk from our house πŸ‘
  12. A couple from yesterday's river walk and a new family of 6 ducklings to add to the family of 11 oñ another sunny day 🌞
  13. Swans by the canal on yesterday's exercise πŸ‘
  14. If you've not seen this site yet your missing out. I watched the third chick hatch last week and they're growing quickly. Some great live cams out there https://explore.org/livecams/raptor-resource-project/decorah-eagles

Turned into a great thread this. First went to the Ritz in the late 70's early 80's, northern/funk dayers. The northern niters of the 90's, the warm ups at the Temple of Convenience, The Attic at the Thirsty Scholar pub. The Motown niter, rarest of the rare. Massive place with that sticky carpet that was still sticky at the early 2000 revival dayers. The que to get in then went all the way up whitworth street. Who could ever forget the bouncing floor and the underground Warren 😁 Good times πŸ‘ A picture of our crowd on the balcony at one of the niters

Had some great times at the Ritz and not all soul related πŸ˜‰ This may give an insight to the place plus there's a good video of the Manchester club scene including the Ritz. https://www.manchestersfinest.com/uncategorized/building-secrets-ritz/
  17. The only decent photos I have of the Cuckoo. The first two are from the hills above Capel Curig, Wales 2013 and the third is from the Isle of Mull 2019. A lot easier to hear than to spot and a lot harder to get on a small compact camera at full zoom. One sound I'll miss this while camping and hiking this springtime.
  18. Quite apt for what's happening at the moment, don't you thinkπŸ‘
  19. Chinook just flew over, nearly fell off me ladder 😁
  20. Brilliant πŸ‘I'll dig mine out later
  21. Cheers mate. It's at this time of the year that the cuckoo's start to appear and echo all round the valleys. A great sound around the empty hills but only managed to photo a couple. Last year on Mull there must of been a dozen making a right old racket, a fantastic sound even if you don't spot them πŸ‘
  22. A photo from last year, 21st June the longest day, of the infamous Crib Goch on Snowdon. Missing the mountains at the moment. If you haven't seen it, this is a great live view of Snowdon from the Plas y Brenin mountain centre https://www.pyb.co.uk/live-feeds/
  23. See a few fishing it but more towards oldfield brow, near the old Bay Malton, and up through Dunham to Lymm.
  24. A few from along the Bridgewater canal in Sale today. A local walk/bike ride I do quite often πŸ‘
  25. Flew over our house 3 times today and didn't manage a photo. Apparently it was practising landing and take off as it's very quiet at the moment at the airport. It's also been on training exercise at Southend and Luton these past few days according to Google πŸ‘
