  1. Really, I've had about 30 mint copies of this and never heard one of them click!
  2. I know all about duty on records and cd's thanks anyway, it's books I'm asking about and apparently you do not have to pay duty on books, however as they are charging $177 postage for 3 books I think I am going to give it a miss!
  3. Great - thanks!
  4. Grrrrrr
  5. Unbelievable - I've got one of these in my draw, I never went and I've no idea how I came to have it, but here it is anyway
  6. If order expensive books from Canada, am I likely to be charged import duty on them? I know there's no vat on books in the Uk but will they just be classed the same as cd's, records etc when coming into the country?

  9. You never seen her before Karen? There's been a few pics of her on my avatar in the past. Thats Mindy, the loyalest dog I've ever known. When everyone else hates me, which is most of the time, her love is unconditional. Protects me night and day. And all for a biscuit.
  10. Don't tell me, you weren't around in the 70's and you think all the things we liked are sh*t.

I once out a list out with some record, think it was by Frankie Karl or something, and described it as "the biggest pile of shite I've ever heard in my life, I'll pay someone to take it off me", I did actually give it away, though I've given loads of records away. The Dreams record was an oldie when I was a lad and I hated it then so it's just never grown on me.

  17. Erm, this is a bit tricky, I just had a phone call from someone who's know this girl for 30 odd years and he told me that all is not quite right with her mental state, and he was being serious, and he also asked if it would be possible to kind of not email here about her auctions, he says she's obviously not going to sell anything so won't be ripping anyone off anyway - and he was being serious so that's the message I was asked to pass on anyway.
  18. So has a road map but you wouldn't wear one of those
